hey everyone. i have a question.. but just to keep you entertained, here are some pictures of crap i've been working on. hope the pictures aren't too big for you.

explanation: i printed out pictures of some of my friends onto iron-on paper.. and it didn't exactly work too well on canvas. but i am persistent. so i tried 2 more times. i was quite upset with the result, but ended up making the best out of it. convinced myself it looked "artistic". :) then i got my black fabric paint and painted messy borders around all of the pictures. the stenciled side.. i started "pedro the lion" with a stencil, but it wasn't cooperating, so i hand-painted it, but of course the outcome was horrible, but oh well. juliana theory was a stencil, and so were the headphones. i don't mind it. i'm going to make more stencils and fill the rest of the bag up too. it's just a bag i use for the few classes i take. yepp.

now onto the actual question. yeah, i know it's past valentines day, but i'm making something for my boyfriend, and i haven't really finished yet. i'm
making a book kind of thing.. i cut the binding off of a tall, thin book and turned it on it's side and drilled holes into it. then i put black fabric over the covers.. but.. i'm actually not too sure about how to keep them there. should i hot glue gun them or something? i have them taped for now. no good. by the way, it's going to say "annie hearts" on the front, and then have all pages and collages and pictures of stuff i heart about him and us. :) if you have any suggestions about keeping the fabric onto the book covers, it would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.
