I love to knit hats!
Mar. 7th, 2004 07:04 pmMy favorite thing to knit right now is hats in the round. I can't get enough of them. I'm going to have to start charity knitting, because I only have so many friends.
I made this one for my friend's birthday. I'm making her a matching drop stitch scarf.

It's made with Skacel Antonia, and it's a gorgeous yarn. The photo doesn't begin to do it justice.
Here's a close up of the yarn.

I used this pattern to make this waffle hat. It's very simple— it's like ribbing with some breaks to it. I made it with Lion Brand Jiffy.

I used this pattern to make this mock cable hat. The yarn was just some worsted weight that was given to me unlabeled. I'm still not sure what I think of the pattern. I think I like the waffle pattern better.

I also made myself a matching scarf and hat in Bernat Boucle blue shades. I love them so much, but they didn't photograph well.
If anyone has any good online patterns for hats in the round that you'd like to share, I'd love some more links!
