I've been lurking for awhile, so I figured it was about time to post some of the things I've made. :-)

I did most of this little wrist pouch last summer; it was my "waiting for the bus" project (campus shuttles don't run during summer session, and public transportation here kind of sucks, so needless to say I wound up with lots of time to kill while getting around town). But then I put it aside for awhile and forgot about it until finals week last quarter, when I decided I'd rather be crafty than studious. :-P

Made entirely out of embroidery thread, it's even sturdier than I thought it would be; holds at least a couple of dollars' worth of change without a problem.

Edit: I attempted to give some instructions here, but I'm not sure how good they are, seeing as it's been months since I came up with the idea, and I don't have any pictures of the process.

A belt that's essentially a giant friendship bracelet, except it's made of yarn. I wasn't thinking when I made this and forgot that the reverse side would be showing after the end was pulled through the rings, but luckily I like how the reverse side looks too. :-)

I learned how to crochet fairly recently, and the scarf I'm showing off here is my first completed work - it's done entirely in single crochet and uses a variegated yarn.

I also just learned how to knit a little while ago. Since I had a concert coming up at the time, I decided that my first knit project would be a light scarf to go with the outfit I planned to wear. Sport-weight yarn, knit 3, purl 3 on size 10 needles.

Finally, my most recently created piece of crochet. I used a pattern I found somewhere online (though unfortunately I can't remember where at the moment).
