I apologize if this has been asked before, but I want to make my best friend a felt/fleece doll for her birthday. She is in love with Matt Skiba, so I thought it would awesome to make her a Matt Skiba doll. I don't want it to be too small, somewhere around the same size as a teddy bear.
The main problem is I can't find any patterns for making the body of a male doll and I do not own a sewing machine. Therefore, I plan on stitching it all by hand.

Does anyone know of any good websites with easy to follow male doll making instructions? And how easy is it to sew felt, or fleece by hand? If you have any tips, I would be so greatful..
oh and her birthday is in two weeks.
