jumping on the glass bead bandwagon...
Feb. 18th, 2002 11:09 pmmy husband has played Magic : TG for years and has an immense collection of cards. i went through his "throwaway" box and am making him a set to use as counters in the game. here's 6. i've done 30 so far. :) i used a drafting template to pick a good circle size and drew the circles and cut the cards first. it went much faster like that.
thanks so much for this idea! has anyone tried 'tiling' with them yet? that would be my next step. i wonder how they'd set in mastic and grout.
btw, the beads were at the dollar store ($1.00 for 50) and so was the glue ($1.00 for a small tube of glass/leather/paper superglue). i couldn't believe it!
