Hat Help...

I don't know if this would be off subject or not, if it is, then please accept my deepest apologies.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good sites that would show how to make a hat.
A soft one...
A close friend of mine has recently been diagnosed w/ cancer and is currently undergoing chemo...so I was thinking that making her a soft fuzzy hat would be a great gift and a great project.

Any replies will be greatly appreciated.
