Flower Hat

craftgrrlHey...I finally learned the round stitch...circle stitch..whatever after crocheting for over 2 years.
The pictures are bad, but I am going to show you what I made.
The hat I followed a pattern for. The flower I freehanded because my liitle brother was on my computer and I was sick of waiting for him to get off because I wanted to finish the hat. So what I did was crochet 5 and slip stitch them together. Then I put 16 double crochets in the ring hole. Then for the next row I went...single stich, then 2 double crochet in the next stich, then single crochet iun the next stitch...and repeated that.
weeeee..I'm proud. Now I can do many more things.
Why did I wait so long to learn it in the first place?
This is the pattern I used..I sorta improvised on it..did one extra row...blah blah..it is cool. I like it.
