Mar. 23rd, 2004 09:32 pmA few people asked about my little paper roses, so I decided to make a tutorial. :) (yay for free time! ...which I don't really have, hehe. Oh well. ;) )
Sorry for the smudgy image quality.
First take a nice piece of paper yarn, and open it all the way.
Add a little glue to the other side of the opened yarn
...and fold it in half.
Glue a piece of green paper yarn in the other end of the strip and add a little glue to the folded yarn..
Roll it into a rose and put a little more glue to the end to keep it from opening up.
Now, take two pieces of that green yarn and open it up, and out a little glue to the other end and pinch it together.
After it is quite dry, add glue to the other end and stick it to the stem.
Hold it until it stays nicely and shape the leaf.
Voila!
