do you HAVE to always use circular needles to knit or crochet a hat? or is there a way to do it with regular needles? I want to make a hat myself but don't have circular needles around...anyone have patterns or instructions that may be helpful if so? (as you can tell from mylack of knowledge when it comes to knitting and crocheting...i can use all the help i can get)
