finished tube top

craftgrrlits super hero spirit day at my school next week, so when i saw this TMNT (as they're only known to truly dedicated fans) sheet at the thrift store i decided to make a skirt to wear. well, i came up with this: 
not exactly as i planned... well then i decided to make a new skirt... apparently when i measured my waist i forgot to allow leeway for seams... i was all out of fabric, so i decided i might as well try to slip it on as a tube top:
i think i'll wear it with jeans and a cute little black cardigan. I'm going to put purple felt "D"s on the butt pockets for donatello, my favorite turtle!
