ceramic paints
Mar. 30th, 2004 06:11 pmI found some awesome, plain white ceramic plates at a discount store for really cheap. I got two of them, thinking that I could get some ceramic paint to personalize them. But every time I read the ceramic paint bottle instuctions at the store, it said that I shouldn't use the paint on a surface that would hold food.
I looked at several different brands, and all had the same warning, so I didn't buy any.
Should I look somewhere else/hold out for paint that can be used on a plate that will hold food (ie: what brands?)?
Or does no such thing exist?
Is there a sealer that I could use to make these paints safe?
Thanks lovely ladies. I figured I should consult you before spending all that money.
