Glass Fusing
Oct. 22nd, 2002 08:11 amI'm somewhat new here, but need some help.
I'm trying to break into glass-fusing. This is more of a finer craft, so I'm not sure if anyone here knows much about it, but I could really use some tips. I have a side-firing kiln, shelves, slumping molds, fiber paper, some frit (but no casting molds) all that jazz, but does anyone know much about the actual technique? I have, as of yet, been unable to use my kiln simply through lack of insruction (it's a used piece and came with zilch as far as manuals go). I bought it to fire my clay sculpture and found in the process that it's perfect for glass-fusing. Anyway, if anyone knows how, or even where to get supplies, please let me know. I'd really appreciate it.
