Fraying edges

craftgrrlSo I foolishly sewed up some denim without folding over the edges, so now I have a nice raw edge that is fraying like crazy. Is there anything I could put on the edges to stop the fraying (cotton denim so burning the edges won't work) or am I destined to take my project apart and resew it?
