This year for Burning man I’m building a 25’ dome for a shade structure.
I need ideas on what to use to cover it. The dome breaks down into panels about the size of a bed sheet cut diagonally. Old hotel bed sheets are about $1 each. But they rip too easily. I tried treating them with a coat of latex paint but that didn’t work, neither did a solution of 1/1 PVA glue and water.
I’m going to need about 400 yards of fabric or plastic or some type of sheeting material. It needs to be almost free to make the project affordable.
Anyone with any great Ideas?
Thanks
Andy
