Hello! This is my first post to this community. I'm usually heavily posting in
stamping (I'm the mod there). Anyway, I made some bracelets based on an idea I saw in Somerset Studio. They're for a swap I hosted. Thought all you crafty girls would want to see. I'm kind of proud of them since I am not a beader (despite all the supplies I have!) and it took me many months of research and agony to get this down. I eventually gave up trying to make regular beaded bracelets. I love being able to use fibers for this (I don't knit or crochet but use fibers in my paper arts).
So...here's the link!. The necklace shown is a scan from the magazine I got the idea from. The double-looped one didn't turn out right. I'll probably eventually break it down and make another but for now, it makes a pretty neat wall hanging. All the charms are either shrink plastic or polymer clay that has been rubber stamped (the charm with the snake is a handcarved stamp). Oh, and there are 12 charms per bracelet based on the Chinese Zodiac animals.
