craftgrrl | hi...first post and all that jazz...

my current project is a beautiful paper mache type bowl...though i cannot seem to get it to cooperate...its made from tearing pieces of paper and them dipping them in the paper mache mix and pressing them against a plastic bowl for form....but...i cannot get it to work properly....i tried glue and water mixture...but it just glued itself to the side of the bowl...(roomates were not happy about the demise of their orange tuperware bowl)...the instructions recommends liquid starch...but i dont believe it exists...ive looked everywhere and the only starch i can find is the aerosol spray stuff....

anyone have any ideas on either where i can find liquid starch...or something else to make the mache from that wouldnt permanently adhere to the sides of the bowl mold...
