Apr. 25th, 2004 02:02 pmI had a really nice black button up shirt that was suffocating me because it was way too small. I didn't want to give it away, so I decided to do something with it.

(best picture I could get of the back, sorry)

I put lace inserts on the side, and cut it into a halter. Then I added cream ribbon trim. I messed up when I cut the front WAY too low but I put patches to fix it and you can't even tell. It not only fits right now, there is room for me to grow into it!

This is my staff shirt for the literary journal, Umlaut. I took it in, added a ruch, and made ringers. Does anyone know that clear covering that can be ironed/sewed OVER an ironon to keep it from cracking? It was mentioned once in the t_shirt_surg community.

does anyone have suggestions on what I could do with this? I want to keep it as a shirt.

p.s. sorry if the pictures don't show, shutterfly has been a bitch lately.
