Basic Instruction for Creating Bath Salts

1. Place the measured salts in a large bowl and mix well.
2. Take out about ½ cup in a small bowl. Add the drops of fragrance and coloring to this smaller amount and mix well. Add the blended mixture to the large bowl, a little at a time until you are pleased with the color strength. Pour your salts in a glass jar with a tight fitting lit. Store and shake every day for one week before packaging.

To use: Draw a warm bath and add ¼ cup of the fragrant salts to the running water. Hop in and relax, inhaling deeply to experience the soothing aromas.

Seashore Salt Rub

These salts are designed to rub on your skin while you stand in the tub before cleansing shower. Salt tones and exfoliates the skin. Kelp is a natural cleanser and moisturizer that helps color the salts to look like beach sand. Kelp adds a wonderful sea scent, but beware- adding too much kelp powder will make she salt rub smell too strongly of the outgoing tide! The other fragrances make the blend smell sweet and refreshing.

Mix together following Basic Instruction:
1 cup Epsom salts
1 cup sea salt
1 teaspoon Atlantic kelp powder
1 tablespoon glycerin
15 drops peppermint fragrance oil
10 drops mulberry fragrance oil

Shake every day for a week. Package as desired.

4 drops yellow liquid colorant
2 drops black liquid colorant
