Spray Paint is Tacky
May. 3rd, 2004 04:46 pmI got a can of Krylon Short Cuts (hot pink) to paint my Nintendo Game Cube controller. It came out well, and I had some paint left over, so I taped off and sprayed this pair of slide sandals I got from Payless a year or two ago that became discolored.
They look fabulous, and I was very suprised how well it turned out.
The thing is, though, is that the paint is dry, but it is tacky. The shoes, for instance, keep attracting and having fuzz and lint and floor junk stick to them. The nintendo controller is not that bad, it just feels different.
Is there any sealant that I can use? I thought about Arcrylic Glossy Sealer spray-on, but was wondering if anyone had a better suggestion. Thanks for your help!
