Altered sports shirt

I got this free t-shirt a while back at a San Jose Earthquakes soccer game, but it was more like a shirt DRESS. Has anyone else noticed how sports apparel is usually designed for large MEN? The thing was huge. It had to be built for someone about three times bigger than me, and I am by no means a skinny girl. I guess I can't complain though, because the shirt was free, and The Earthquakes are my favorite team. One afternoon I was cleaning out my closet, and found this perfectly functional shirt. I felt ambitious, so I dug out my sewing machine & scissors, and went to work. I took both of the sides in, cut the neck to a v-neck, made the shirt shorter, and cut the sleeves off. It's now more of a form-fitting boatneck/v-neck tank top. I used a zig-zag type stitch to overlock the edges (except for the bottom egde, which I simply hemmed) to keep them from fraying. It kind of left a curly, wavy effect that I like. The picture doesn't do it much justice considering the fact that it's lying on my poufy quilt, and they're poor pics, but you get the idea!
