craftgrrl | Cross stitchery (excuse my bad photography!!!)

I've asked a bunch of questions, but never posted any of my work. So here goes:

This is a present I made for my friend's birthday. The bat was a kit from Pinn-Stitch, the lettering from a free online pattern, and I designed the numbers myself out of desperation...

And this is the big project I've been working on, QuanYin from Pinn-Stitch. It's going to turn out beautifully, but this is as far as I've gotten... I've marked off a grid with red thread. Turns out I'm actually not capable of counting it off without placeholders! :) She's next to the picture on the pattern front for comparison, not that you can really see anything anyway...
