Two Questions
May. 11th, 2004 11:53 amSearched through the archives and I can't seem to find what I'm looking for -- and the sad thing was that I was the one who posted it! :-)
I am looking for the method using nail polish remover (acetone) or -- peppermint oil, I think -- to transfer photographs onto wood. I can't remember what type of oil (maybe it was wintergreen) and I can't remember if I can do this with inkjet prints or need to go get color photocopies made. I'm just drawing a total and complete blank right now on it for some reason & can't find the answer in my archive search! HELP!
Second question is this: does anyone know of any companies that make colored vellumn that will go through an inkjet printer? I am wanting to do some crafts witha thicker vellum that I'm finding would be way easier to do with printouts to work from, but while I have some tracing paper that can go through the printer, its boring white!
Thanks guys!
