crappy eyelet tools
May. 20th, 2004 02:06 ami've bought two eyelet punching/smushing tools already and i'm pretty disappointed. i bought one that looks like a single hole puncher, and i bought a simple one from walmart that's just a long cylinder (looks like a short pen) that you hammer....
the first tool didn't fit the eyelets well, and the second's hole maker wouldn't go through cardboard (are they supposed to?)
is there one GOOD quality brand or style that won't destroy 9 out of 10 eyelets? would a higher quality hole punch-looking style be better, or should i stick with a tool that punches out a hole first, and then you smush in an eyelet...
