craftgrrl | I know it's a silly summer project, but....

Okay, so I decided I am going to knit. --never mind the fact that it is warm and sunny outside, with only more of that to come. I want to knit a fuzzy eyelash fringe scarf. I want it to be thin and long, so it can be worn just with a top on chilly days.

I haven't knitted in years, but I think I can figure it out (let's hope). My questions are these: what size needles do I need to buy? do they sell this kind of fun yarn at wal-mart? should I double up the fun yarn with plain yarn and if so, what kind? is there a pattern I can follow?
