Greetings from a new member! You all seem like such a wonderful and creative bunch of people; maybe you could answer a quick question for me.
I started my first-ever decoupage project tonight; I'm making a Moulin Rouge-themed journal for a Christmas present. I'm working with shiny-finish Mod Podge, and I still have several layers of cutouts to go (I'm letting the first dry overnight). When I'm done, will a few more layers of Mod Podge be a good-enough topcoat, or should I look for another clear material to serve as a protective coating? If so, what should I look for? I'd like this thing to be reasonably durable.
I think I'm mostly concerned that the Mod Podge will dry to a tacky finish...
