craftgrrlI currently sew everything by hand. I've been putting together a bunch of different clothing projects, but I feel very discouraged to start on them, knowing how long and tiring the process will be.
I want to buy a machine, but I haven't used once since I was 10 years old (i was sewing blankets and tiny pillows for my barbies on an old singer). I didn't know a lot about sewing machines back then, and so now, jeez, I don't even know what to ask...
All I really need a machine for is sewing seams, simple alterations, simple simple simple. I do not want to[$I cannot afford to$] spend a lot of money right now.
Ideally, I'd like to get a machine under a hundred bucks right now, and then in the future, if I feel so inclined, get something nicer... unless there is a machine that is a bit OVER a hundred that I would be extremely pleased with and thank my lucky stars forever if I went with it.
You get me? You got any suggestions?
