May. 28th, 2004 01:02 amhii. i've been through the FAQ but i haven't really seen anything pertaining to this.
my mom and i went to joann's and she was really pumped about buying burlap to make those burlap bags with wooden handles. we bought like five yards of three different colored burlaps.
the problem im having is that the burlap and very fibery?[ im not sure if thats the word im searching for] but it sheds alot. i dont know if theres something i can put on it to sort of laminate it and avoid the fear of wearing black shirts when i use the purse.

i made this a while ago. and ive worn it a couple times and a couple hours later the skirt material gets streched out and it starts falling off of me. this is probably a silly question but i dont know if this happens to everyone else. is this an issue of just adding elastic or something? or just taking it in more? i made the skirt kinda loose to avoid fat bulges at the waist band but maybe it needs to be taken in more.
thanks!!
