I had a lot of fun with this project. Its decorative but useful, so its a great addition to my desk.

I bought everything at a craft store and it was so cheap.
Materials:
Vase ($1)
Decorative marbles or pebbles ($2)
Bic ballpoint pens ($1)
Silk flowers ($3)
Florist's tape ($1.50)

This project only took about 5 minutes to do, and it was so easy. Fill the vase with marbles or pebbles. Wrap the pens in the florist's tape to create the flower's stem. Cut the flower so that there is only a few inches of wire at the bottom. Slide the silk flower into the tape at the top of the pen. Stick your flowers into the vase. Make as many as you want for a beautiful bouquet. Pull out a flower anytime you need something to write with ;-)
