for all you crafty gals I have some neat ideas to share. I happened to be watching the Carol Duvall show this morning on HGTV and usually I don't watch her show because she often does more adult crafts than I would be interested in. but today she showed how to make this fiber lace scarf and I thought it would be neat to share with you all. they turned out beautiful and I can't wait to try making one of my own once I get some money.

they also had some crafts sent in by viewers. one that I liked the best was a bird feeder made out of coffee cans to look like a snowman. it was made of four coffee cans for the body, a plastic plate for the hat brim and another coffee can for the hat. the plate was a bird feeder. and I thought it would be neat if instead of painting black holes on the body for buttons if you drilled holes and put seperaters between the body cans to make individula bird houses. you could paint the whole thing to look like a snowman or make more than one to make snow family. if you wanted a more year round look I thought making them look like american gothic! I can just see something like that sitting in someone's yard.
