Semi-Finished Dolly!

She's almost complete!


I'm posting this more of for my friend than me, since she did crochet all of the doll. The only part I did so far was the eyes(cross stitching), which hasn't been added on yet. The doll body is loosely based off from a Precious Moments pattern and I believe it is double crochet using a size 4 hook. The dress is based on dolls pattern dresses, but we might change it since I bought some 80's crochet pattern booklets on baby's clothes. She is about 16" and both her arms and legs are movable. She is also extremely soft (baby type yarn) and hug-able. :) She still needs her eyes added on, her hair, mouth, hat, pantaloons and booties.

The thing is where we live, there are a lot of young families and many people around here have babies. We've been thinking about selling hand crochet dolls but we're not too entirely sure about how to price them. In addition we also might sell crochet baby dresses. So I'm just wondering if anyone of you might think this is something to get into just for earning a little more during our spare times, as we both are college students on our summer breaks and how much should we price them at... thanx everyone
