consignment

Hello! I was hoping some of you might be able to give me advice about consigning in local stores. I might have the chance to sell my bags in a local boutique, but I am unsure what I need to know prior to our meeting, as this is my first experience doing something like this.

What do store owners usually need to know before they will consign your products? How important is it to have a business license/registered name? What are good questions to ask the owner? What are your experiences with consigning?
