got the idea to teach myself to embroider this weekend. started out with an old old book with lots of fancy stitches.. and tried those and finally just gave that up, grabbed the nearest picture i could figure to transfer and did all satin stitches. not perfect, it's got crazy legs, but okay for my first try.









the question is, now what do i do with it? can i maybe glue it to some kind of backing (leather, more fabric, etc) so that it can be cut out and used as an appliqué?
