mod podge question

Hi-

I'm new to the list and I admit I have not posted pics of anything I have done. Yet.

I promise to post something up as soon as possible if someone can answer my question though :) Tricky hey?

I am doing fabric collage. Fabric onto paper and plaster casts etc. I have been using Mod Podge which has been faboulous. Recently though I was asked "Why not just plain white Elmer's glue?" To which I had no answer.

Does anyone know if there is a difference? And if so is it huge difference, or does it kinda do the same thing in the end?
