Needle pointing bathroom accessories
Jun. 20th, 2004 01:05 amDoes anyone here needle point? Like with the plastic grids and yarn?
My boyfriend's grandma passed away last year and now we have her boxes upon boxes filled with bright yarn and those plastic grids. There are also books and patterns, but everything seems to be for the holidays and not just "every day."
I started with a beginer kit now and fell in love with how much fun it is (and easy, and portable, etc.). But just because it's fun doesn't mean it's neccisarily stylish to my decorating taste. I decided I want to decorate my bathroom with the stuff though...Tissue box cover, potpourri holder, door hanger that says "#1" on one side and "#2" on the other, etc. Well, I think it's funny anyway, and I want a whole bunch of smart-ass things to stitch onto random decorative crap.
Does anyone have any idea where I can get (free) neat patterns for needle pointing? Or what about funny quirky things to make? I pretty much used up all my creative energy on that "#1" and "#2" idea there.
