craftgrrl | graduation gift: sewn purse

i thought i posted this, but apparently not. i made this draw-string purse for my boyfriend's sister as a graduation gift - i'm giving it to her tomorrow. i also made a matching card.

made from:
$2 fabric from walmart (with lots of extra to spare)
the string from a free seventeenmag plastic bag i got around their prom visits to malls (went with a friend)
and my trusty sewing machine that i fumble with

it's big enough to fit a gamecube game container thing in there. i made it that size since we bought her a game, but then she wanted to play it already so she's got the game already lol.
