Hi!

I have an old, DIY ankle length denim skirt. Well...not anymore, now I have a super-short denim skirt and a long denim piece I'm intending to turn in to a ruffle.

My question is this:


The jean skirt is now waaaaay big on me in the waist and only a little big on me in the hips. I need to resized the waist, but without making the hips/butt too tight or look funky in a bad way.

Does anyone have any experience with resizing in this way, and if so, could you please share?
