holes in the butt of your jeans??????

craftgrrlmy favorite pair of jeans started getting holes by the pockets on the butt. i really really love these jeans. my brillant idea? i sewed a piece of fabric behind the hole so it peaks through. now i don't have to throw them away! does anyone else have ideas for what to do when your favorite jeans start falling apart?
