Fixing pants

I hope no one considers this too off-topic but I have a crafting/sewing question... I have these pants that are made of very, very thin corduroy. I've never seen it in fabric stores and I doubt I'd be able to match the colour perfectly anyway. Well, one of the inside legs (right around the crotch area, of course!) has torn and I'm not sure how to fix it. I'd throw them out if I didn't love them so much and if they weren't ridiculously expensive. Heh. Any ideas?
