i made these a couple weeks ago, but just got around to hanging them up.  i printed photos i had taken, sealed them with this indoor/outdoor sealer i had (seemed to work well!) and mod podged them to the back of glass plates bought at dollar tree (yay for dollar tree!  if you have one in your area, go! i also got the plate hangers there.)  one thing i don't like is the bubbley look on the pictures (i think you can see them on the photos behind the cut.)  like the mod podge didn't spread evenly.  i watered down the mod podge.  is their any way to prevent this from happening?  maybe use a different type of adhesive?  i was thinking maybe puzzle saver?  in person, you can't really see the air pockets or whatever they are, but i was thinking of making these for christmas presents and i want them to look a little better than mine.

a picture of my grandma's mule, jill.  i love jill the mule.  she is the sweetest.

a picture of a shell at the beach.

a picture of a palm tree i took during my recent vacation to los angeles (we don't have palm trees in washington, so i'm fascinated by them.)
