plasticky things
Jul. 14th, 2004 08:58 pmHey crafty ladies and crafty gents, I have a question. I love making things with shrink plastic. The problem is that my local wal-mart is the most incredibly worthless store EVER and they never have anything in stock and there is no guaruntee that they will even re-stock. So no shrink plastic for me. My question is this: Is there a reasonable priced place online that I can buy it? Or is there something I can use instead? I read somewhere a long time ago that there was a certain type of recyclable plastic that you could use just as well, but I don't know what kind, and I don't know what you'd be able to draw on it with? Permanent markers? Anywho, any help would be very much appreciated. ^^
Oh, and just so this isn't a text only, here are some of my pins that I've been making with the shrink plastic:
Pretty Plastic faces
They're some of my earliest ones, since I haven't taken pics of my latest stuff yet, so they're not quite as good as the newer ones, but you get the idea. Each one is about about four inches tall, or so, counting legs and hair.
