craftgrrl | Computer Mouse necklace, and help needed to make a cupcake crown and pink pirate patch..

I got my old computer mouse and made it into a necklace. (: I cut the cord to the length I needed and used black electric tape to attach the end of it to the mouse and make it a necklace. Very easy.

My current projects are to make a cupcake crown and a pink pirate patch. The only problem is, I have no idea how to make them. Does anyone have any ideas?

I want the crown to be like that, except a white and pastel pink cupcake (not a real one, obviously). Very small compared to my head.
I -really- want to make one, but I have no idea how to go about it.
