craftgrrlok I JUST started making cigar box purses.. and I realise I am spending a mini FORTUNE on hardware... and hvaing a VERY har dtime finding what I need. I am useing wooden and those 'hardcardboard' boxes...
1.what can i use for a hinge or to reinforce the paper hinge on teh cardboard ones, that i can paint over?
2.clasps..the thing that will hold the box shut. i am having a VERY har dtime finding these, the lil metal ones, most of my stores are sold out.. bah. what else can I use to keep the lid closed?
3. any sites online that sell hardware, ie clasps, hinges. small ones of course for a fairly cheap price?
