Clock Records

I need some help. I looked in the memories and I looked online real quick and couldn't find something to help me.
I want to take old records my mom found in her closet and make a clock out of them.
I owe my father a Father's Day present..heh heh....And I will see him next week, so I wanna make him a clock.
Does anyone have a tutorial or can direct me in the direction of how to do one?
Also, I would need the parts for a clock...are they expensive?
