Today, I finally managed to get my revamped bed upstairs into my bedroom. Yay!

Once upon a time, there was a girl. She wandered to an estate sale, where she managed to find a sadly-unloved, rustycrusty bed marked for $50. Eventually, she managed to get away with only paying $10 for it, and, home it scooted!

After muchmuch scrubbing with a sassy wire brush, she managed to get nearly all of the crusty rust off it. Then, she sprayed a protective coat of poly over it, and shaaaazam, it was beautiful.

Now, as you can see, this bed had no springs! Nothing to support any sort of sleeping person! This posed a bit of a problem for the aforementioned girl, so, she dashed off to find some woodbits to stick across it.

She managed to find some, but they were so... so... boring. No one likes a boring bed (well, at least this girl didn't), so she managed upon some old paint that she mixed up a bit, and painted the boards.

Now, even in their puke green and funky violet new hues, they were still a bit... boring. Or maybe our herione was just extrememly bored that day. We may never know. Anyway, these six boards ended up being painted with six little words, in different, well... fonts.

We had Love,

Sleep,

Night,

Dream,

Live,

And...Create

Inspiring bits of word that can only be seen crawling underneath the bed and looking up.

Despite having a very strange bed, the girl managed to be very very happy.
