Jul. 27th, 2004 05:58 pmhello all-
i've been making little clothing repairs / alterations by hand for a few years, but i've decided that i want to get into more substantial projects...so now i need a sewing machine of some sort. what i need is the cheapest thing possible that isn't a piece of junk that will fall apart immediately - in other words, something both reliable and affordable. any specific ones i should try to find?
also, what stores can one find them in? (i live in the middle of suburban nowhere and it's tough to find a retail place that isn't a big chain, so if anyone knows of any big chain stores that have a good selection, please let me know).
thanks!
