So sleepy...
Jul. 28th, 2004 01:30 pmPresenting the Pajama skirt!
Great for fall, not so great for summer.

Apologies for the crappy picture. (it's really plaid, I swear!)
Anyway...it's from a pair of flannel pj pants that got a huge hole in them that couldn't be fixed like I wanted. So I scissored them up and found I had two nice big skirt shaped pieces. And voila. I was going to put the elastic waistband back on, but I really didn't want to tackle that after all, so it has two hooks & eyes on the sides to keep it from falling down.
And it's toasty all right.
*sweats*
I also need some input on the following:
I made this from the pockets of the jeans I cut up to make my denim blanket.
Two pockets, sewed together and then another pocket added for the flap.
Here's the front:

And the back:
250 222
SO....
You think it needs a strap or not? I could conceivably put one on, but I'm not so sure it needs it.
And, if so, what should I make the strap from?
Thanks!
