Aug. 1st, 2004 03:16 pmso. first off. thank you so freaking much to everyone who told me how to say 'i love you'. i was blown away by the respones i got and didn't answer each because it would have taken me five years. so here it is. thank you, you are amazing, and brilliant. so many languages!
i made this box as a gift for someone, but i don't think i'm ever going to give it to them. i just got into one of those moods where i had to make something.
without further ado.

this is the top.

this is one side of it.

this is another side.

yet another side!

and one more side... for good luck.

here's the inside.
as you can tell, i used your wisdom on the inside. i don't know if i like how it came out though. i may paint over it and try again. my hand writing is horrid and it isn't quite what i had in mind.
along the inside edges i wrote "I don't know where it all begins. And I don't know where it all will end. We're better off for all that we let in", a lyric from the indigio girls. because i am a firm believer in that for any moment in life, there is an indigo girls lyric to describe it.
one last bit of advice i need. is there some product that, when i'm happy with the product, i can paint over to keep the magazine cutouts from peeling off? when i make these things for myself i use clear packaging tape, but i'm ready to graduate to the next crafty level.
