altered book in progress

So I've been working on this altered book (you take a normal book and then cut it up/add stuff inside/paint it/whatever artsy type stuff you like to make it into art instead of just a book) for my boyfriend for over half a year. I'm such a procrastinator. I haven't finished a single page yet. Everything behind the cut is a work in progress but I felt like sharing what I've done so far:
