okay here's a question- I looked in the FAQ and in a few other communities. I have a button up, collared long sleeve larger shirt that I'm trying to make into either a peasant top or a summery crisscross type top. I've made slits in the sleeves and am thinking of adding lace to the edges and a seam all around the arm to make it into a bell sleeve. one idea is to cut the collar off, add the same ribbon that I'd put on the cuffes, cut off both sides where the buttons are and the button holes, add some patchwork fabric and maybe something corset style. another would be to criss cross it like we do the tshirts. does this sound do-able?

and IF I had a camera, I'd include before and after pics. :/
