With winter not too far away, I decided to attempt to crochet a scarf. Since I'm a sewer and not a knitter or crocheter, I wasn't sure how easy it would be. I was surprised, it only took me about a day to complete (after of course tearing it out 3 or 4 times).
I love the colors, they are an obnoxiously bright pink and aqua. I think I must have subconsciously modeled the colors off my Miami Vice shirt.

I have some leftover chenille yarn that I would like to attempt to transform into a hat and mittens, does anyone know of some simple patterns (preferably crochet, it's much more forgiving for me)?
